This Statement applies to our website, grid.adtrekker.com, as well as to all our subdomains and our services. We are GridEvents (referred to below, less formally, as 'GridEvents, 'we' or 'us').

For any data processing executed on behalf of a customer and as part of an agreement related to an event or event registration process, GridEvents acts within a separate data processing agreement between the customer and GridEvents.


2. Personal data

At GridEvents, we process the data you have shared with us directly, or which we have collected through cookies (provided you have enabled cookies in your browser). If you contact us, we will store your details on our system. Most of these details will be company data, but they might also be personal data, which is defined as any data that can be traced back to you individually. Although you're never obliged to share your personal data with us, having it on our systems does help us to do a better job serving and assisting you.

You might say: it's all well and good that you're committed to protecting my personal data – but what data do we collect exactly? In any case, we never collect more than we need. We might collect the following types of data:

So, if you're a customer of ours, we will retain your details as long as you remain our customer, or longer if this is necessary in order to fulfil certain statutory and legal requirements.

If you have signed up to receive our newsletter, we will send you this digital update a few times per year. You can unsubscribe receiving the newsletter by deregistering via the unsubscribe link in the mail or by sending us an email with the request to unsubscribe.

The website grid.adtrekker.com collects data to analyze the use of the website and the several pages, as well as it uses functional cookies to make sure all images and used fonts load fast on your device.


5. With whom do we share data?

As a rule, we don't share your details with anyone. We are only authorized to share data with third parties if this is absolutely necessary for performing work that supports us in managing your project. In this case, we sign a data-processing agreement that complies with the applicable laws and regulations and our own standard for data processing. In rare situations, we may also be required to hand over data to the competent authorities (including government agencies). In this case, we have no choice but to cooperate.


6. Transfer of personal data

We process personal data only within the European Economic Area (EEA). If it is necessary to process personal data in countries outside the EEA, we will obviously do this in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations. We do not process any personal data at our hubs outside the EEA.

When it comes to your personal data, you have certain undisputed rights. For example, you always have the option to access, modify or erase any of your personal data we have stored on our systems.
